Operations and Executive Assistant

We are looking for a full-time Operations and Executive Assistant to help us with the smooth running of our organisation.

As the Operations and Executive Assistant you will provide high level professional administrative support to both the Chief Executive and the Finance Manager.  This will include: complex diary management, project budgeting, monthly and annual planning plans across workstreams, use of our CRM system (Salesforce), organisation of events, finance and operations administration.

  • Working Hours: full time, 9:30 – 5:30
  • Location: Central London at CSC’s office
  • Salary: £23K
  • Reporting: direct report to Chief Executive and Finance Manager
  • Duration: permanent role.
  • Pension: Employer contribution of 5% of gross salary
  • 25 days annual leave

Network Development and Shared Learning Intern

As Network Development and Shared Learning Intern you will help build CSC’s network of members including researching and recruiting new members, maintaining and updating membership databases and helping to administer online learning networks and social media. You will help identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the CSC network in order to support the implementation on the UN General Comment on Children in Street Situations.

  • Working Hours: part-time, flexible timing 3 days per week
  • Location: Central London at CSC’s office
  • Expenses: this is an unpaid volunteering opportunity. Expenses reimbursed to a flat rate of £20 per day
  • Reporting: direct report to the Digital Manager and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer
  • Duration: six months preferred, but flexible, minimum three months.

Communications Intern

As Communications Intern you will help build CSC’s public recognition and international profile and assist with the delivery of CSC’s social media strategy. This is an exciting and varied role with lots of room for creativity.

  • Working hours: part-time (3 days), flexible timing
  • Location: CSC’s offices in Old Street
  • Expenses: This is an unpaid volunteering opportunity. Expenses reimbursed to a flat rate of £20 per day
  • Reporting: Direct report to the Communications and Marketing Manager
  • Duration: Six months preferred but flexible.

Advocacy Intern

As Advocacy Intern you will support CSC’s work to advocate for the rights of street-connected children at global, regional, national and local level, and work with the Advocacy Officer and Research and Advocacy Manager to promote implementation on the UN Committee in the Rights of the Child’s General Comment on Children in Street Situations.

  • Working hours: part-time (2-4 days per week), flexible timing
  • Location: CSC’s offices in Old Street
  • Expenses: This is an unpaid volunteering opportunity. Expenses reimbursed to a flat rate of £20 per day
  • Reporting: Direct report to the Advocacy and Research Manager
  • Duration: Six months preferred but flexible.
