In 2013 CSC was proud to launch our Global Resource Centre www.streetchildrenresources.org
The site is a free-to-use online library which contains a rapidly growing collection of material on street children – including reports, research, articles, toolkits, briefings and case studies – from some of the world’s leading experts and organizations. The site is aimed at anyone with an interest in street children including academics, researchers, NGO workers, policy makers, students and journalists.
CSC’s Global Resource Centre is designed to make it easy to search for what you need. If you know what you are looking for you can search by title or author, otherwise you can search by topic (e.g child protection, education, juvenile justice), country or region. Most resources are available to read or download there and then, but some articles appear in academic journals which require a subscription for access. These items are marked with a padlock symbol.
We are constantly looking for new resources to feature on the site, so if you have a research report, policy paper, briefing, toolkit, guidance document or case study that is relevant to street children, please do submit it via the Upload button.
CSC and our network members across the globe will also post jobs and research opportunities and proposals on the resource centre, so make sure you keep coming back to see what’s new.
CSC’s Global Resource Centre is jointly supported by Aviva and HSBC.
