About the project
Led by the Institute for Development Studies, CLARISSA ‘Child Labour Action Research Innovation in South and Southern Asia‘ is a consortium of organisations committed to building a strong evidence base and generate innovative solutions to the worst forms of child labour in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal. Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), this programme is co-developing innovative and context-appropriate ways to increase options for children to avoid engagement in hazardous, exploitative labour and is designed to generate innovation from the ground, which can sustainably improve the lives of children and their families.
