Vulnerability and Service Mapping in Kolkata

Summary

The Vulnerability and Service Mapping (V&SM) is the fruit of research developed by Street Champions – 30 street-connected children from Kolkata who were trained as researchers and conducted the research. The project started in 2019 to show the vulnerabilities that street-connected children face every day in Kolkata.

In the project, the children brought together the voices of street-connected children who often feel unsafe, forgotten and ignored, to inform people in the government and services about their situation, and what they think these institutions should do to make it better.
